Her Journey
Emily’s journey into the world of running began as a personal quest for fitness and well-being. After discovering the transformative power of running, she felt compelled to share this experience with others. In 2022, she established We Run Nairobi, aiming to foster a supportive environment that encourages everyone—from beginners to seasoned athletes—to lace up their shoes and hit the road together.
Building a Community
Under Emily’s leadership, We Run Nairobi has grown into a thriving community. She believes that running is not just about competition but about camaraderie, connection, and adventure. Emily emphasizes the importance of celebrating each member’s journey, creating an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and inspired.
A Vision for the Future
Emily’s vision for We Run Nairobi goes beyond the trails and roads of Nairobi. She aims to expand the club’s reach, host more community events, and inspire others to embrace an active lifestyle. With her unwavering dedication, she continues to motivate members to push their limits, explore new routes, and forge lasting friendships.

Joining We Run Nairobi has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. The community is incredibly supportive, and there’s a real sense of belonging, whether you're a seasoned runner or just getting started. The mix of urban routes and nature trails keeps things fresh, and the Thursday 6AM Club is the perfect way to kickstart my day. The after-party runs are a blast too! It’s more than just a running club—it’s a family that motivates you to keep pushing and enjoy every stride.
